This can be typical cosmetic changes such as skin smoothing (air brushing), teeth whitening, spot removal etc Modifications such as changing the colour of a shirt in an image, to more complicated changes such as the complete removal of an unwanted guest are also possible. There are many treasured photographs that reside in boxes, attics, cupboards and photo albums. Often not treated as well as they might, they may be damaged or the colours may just have altered due to the type of printing process originally used.
Fotocad offer services to repair damaged photographs whether torn, crumpled or just discoloured it is often possible to fully repair a photograph. Existing paper photographs can be scanned in and turned into digital images allowing them to be manipulated with advanced image manipulation tools.
Images can be cleaned up, creases removed and depending on the nature of the damage sometimes even missing parts of photographs can be recreated.
Black and white photographs that have tinted over time can be made into true black and white photographs and where colour has faded to colour photographs often the original colours can be reinstated.
Once these repairs have been carried out then the image can be printed on photographic paper in all its original glory.
